本閥門材料選用表是用來大致指出與某種流體介質接觸而發生反應時,應如何選擇適當的材料。表中的推薦不是絕對的,因為碳鋼,鑄鐵,不銹鋼,青銅,蒙乃爾合金,哈氏合金,鈦,鈷鉻合金,沉淀鋼等閥門材料的耐腐蝕性與流體的濃度、溫度、壓力和雜質等因素有關。因此,必須強調本表只能作為一個導則參考。
